EPPS is a system that provides an electronic task guidance and support to the user at the moment of need. The EPSS gathers different technologies to represent to get the desired information. The information can come in different forms such as: text , graphical displays and video presentations.
Groupware is another system and it is used for group that either working together or together to be in the small groups. They call it collaborative software becuase of its functions that help in communication, cooperation, coordinate, solve problems, compete and negotiate. The communication is faster and clearer, cutting down on trvael cost by telecommuting, etc.
Intelligent Tutoring Systems provides feedback and customized instructions without interventions from a human teacher. For some, it would sound like it took the place of the human teacher but I think it can be helpful to the human teacher. This is a tool that has a goal: to engage students in sustained reasoning activity and to interact with the student based on a deep understanding of the students behavior.
Teleconference is interactive group communication consisting of three or more people in multiple locations. There can be a disadvantage which is the technology itself going out or not working. The advantages a very beneficial which consist of reducing expense of traveling, its more expandable to people in different locations at one time, participants can be prepared in advanced and its particularly satsifactory for simple problem solving, information exchange and procedural tasks.(www.joe.org)
